Waffenfabrik Bern, the Swiss federal arms factory, built this Model 1911 rifle. It is a bolt action chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss, with a 30.7 inch barrel and a blue finish. The serial number is 432142, and a case is not included.

The long barrel is characteristic of the full-length infantry Schmidt-Rubin, and it gives the rifle a steady feel at the shoulder. Swiss arsenals used high standards of inspection.

Straight-pull rifles work differently than turn-bolt designs, so the first cycle may feel odd. Check the bore, the bolt, and the markings against the photos. Priced under six hundred dollars, it is a reasonable entry into Swiss collecting.

Condition is exactly as described and pictured. The rifle is sold as described and ships only to a licensed FFL dealer you choose, where the background check is completed. Check local transfer and ownership rules in your state before you place the order. Ask us about fit, wear or what comes with it before you order. If a detail matters to your decision, send a question first and compare the answer with the photos.
