Years ago, Universal Firearms made civilian M1 Carbine replicas in the years when surplus carbines were harder to find, and this one is a used example. The seller notes that the brand is a civilian replica of the M1. Serial number 469037, an 18 inch barrel and a blued finish describe it. It is a semi-automatic rifle in .30 Carbine with a 10+1 capacity.

The notes give the overall length as 36 inches and say it comes with the rifle, a scope mount and a magazine only. No other accessories, papers or box are included. It is described as in good condition as pictured.

A Universal carbine is a different thing from a World War II issue rifle. It has the look, the light weight and the mild recoil, but the parts and the finish are not military issue. That is reflected in the price, which is lower than a genuine carbine.

For a shooter who wants to plink with an M1 Carbine at a modest cost, it is a reasonable choice. Check function with several magazines.

It is sold as described. It ships to a licensed dealer you choose, and the background check takes place there.
