Italian infantry carried the Carcano for decades, and the Terni Arsenal was one of the factories that built it. This used M91 carbine has an 18-inch barrel and is chambered in 6.5mm, with a black matte finish. It carries a three-round capacity.

It comes with a folding spike bayonet, and the seller notes that there is no box. The folding bayonet is a recognizable feature of the carbine version, and it is one of the details collectors check. Look at the photos to make sure it moves freely and locks in place.

The Carcano is an unusual design with a distinctive clip system. The rifle loads from an en bloc clip that holds the cartridges together, and the clip drops out when the last round is fired. The 6.5mm round is mild, with low recoil, so the carbine is easy to shoot. Ammunition is available, though it is not as cheap as common calibers.

When it arrives, check the bore and the bolt. Make sure the clip system works as expected. Look over the sights and the stock for cracks or repairs. It is sold as described, in used condition. The rifle ships to your FFL dealer for the background check.
