Straight-pull action is the first thing to know about this Swiss K1911. The carbine is a bolt action in 7.5x55mm Swiss with a 23 inch barrel and a five round capacity. The seller calls it a really cool, very accurate rifle that is still used in competitions today.

The K1911 is a shorter carbine relative of the long Swiss rifles, built for cavalry and artillery troops. The action is smooth and rugged, and the cartridge shoots flat and accurately. Swiss shooters keep these rifles on the line at matches, which says something about the design.

As with any older rifle, check the bore, the bolt, and the sights. The 7.5 Swiss round is not as cheap as 7.62x54R, but it is available. If you like unusual military arms that still shoot well, take a look.

Because this is a pre-owned rifle, it is sold as described. Compare the photos with the notes, ask if anything is unclear, and then have it sent to your local FFL dealer, who completes the paperwork and background check. Check local transfer and ownership rules in your state before you place the order.
