Adjustability changes how an M1A shoots, and this MP9220 comes with a precision adjustable synthetic stock in flat dark earth. It is a new Loaded M1A in .308 Winchester with a 22-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity, finished in black.

A precision stock lets you move the cheek rest and the length of pull to fit your body. That helps with consistent form, which is the secret to tight groups. Shooters who spend time at long distances often favor this kind of stock, because they can set it for prone, bench, and field positions.

The Loaded model includes upgrades over the standard rifle, and the maker offers the full details. The two-stage trigger and aperture sight remain, along with the weight and balance that make the M1A pleasant to shoot. Hunters can also use the rifle for deer, with the stock set to suit their scope height.

Take time to set the stock up before the first shot. Mount your optic, align the cheek rest so your eye sits behind the scope naturally, and tighten all the screws. Then fire a few groups to check the zero. The rifle ships to your local FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
