A desert camo stock sets this M1A apart from the usual walnut or black synthetic. The rifle is a Springfield Armory M1A Standard, the civilian semi-automatic descendant of the M14 that replaced the M1 Garand in U.S. service. It is chambered in 7.62mm NATO (7.62x51) and has a 21 inch barrel with a matte black finish.

It has a Springfield Armory scope mount, which matters because the M1A does not take an optic as easily as most rifles. There is no original box. The rifle comes with a 20 round magazine capacity listed, a useful size for range days and informal match practice.

A collector looking at an M1A should check the bore, the operating rod guide, and how the stock bedding feels where it meets the receiver. Ask yourself whether the camo suits your plans; a stock like this is happiest in the field or at a heavy-rifle match, where looks matter less than function.

This rifle is used and sold as described, so read the details and look over every photo before you order. It ships to a licensed dealer (FFL) of your choice, and the background check is done there when you pick it up.
