Ready to shoot is the idea behind this used M1A SOCOM 16: the seller lists four magazines, a bag and a Monstrum prism sight. The rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester, with a 16.25 inch barrel, a black finish and a 20 round magazine capacity.

The SOCOM 16 is Springfield Armory's compact take on the M1A. The short barrel makes it more maneuverable than the standard rifle, which suits use around vehicles, in a blind or in thick timber. You give up some velocity from the shorter tube, but at moderate ranges the .308 still hits with authority.

The Monstrum prism sight is a compact optic that works without a battery, which is a practical thing on a rifle that may sit in a bag for months. Four magazines mean you can spend an afternoon at the range without stopping to load every few minutes.

As a used rifle, it is sold as described. Inspect the finish and the bore when it arrives. It ships to a licensed dealer you choose, and the background check is completed there.
