Built on the pattern the U.S. Army carried as the M14, this Precision Loaded rifle is current production of a military design, not a surplus piece. It is new, chambered in 7.62x51 NATO and fed from a 10 round magazine. The 22 inch barrel gives the long sight radius the pattern was drawn around.

The Precision Loaded name points at the target side of the M1A family. Expect the same two-stage military layout, the same long-action feel and the same weight that steadies the sights on a slow string at distance. A rifle like this suits a shooter who wants an M14 profile for the range, a match or a day on the hill and does not mind carrying a little iron. Take it out to the bench before you rely on it: cycle the action a dozen times, dry fire it, and look down the bore with a bright light.

Like every firearm in the store, it ships to a licensed dealer you choose, and the background check is completed there. Inspect the bore and cycle the action when you pick it up, then keep the magazine and manual with the rifle.
