Springfield's Loaded M1A takes the standard rifle and adds the upgrades that match shooters like. It is a new semi-automatic in .308 Winchester with a 22-inch barrel, a black finish, and a 10+1 capacity. Check the product page for the exact list of features that come with this version.

The M1A grew out of the military M14 pattern, and the lines are easy to recognize. A steel receiver, a two-stage trigger, and an aperture rear sight give it a purposeful feel. The 22-inch barrel adds velocity and sight radius, and the rifle has the weight to handle .308 recoil without fuss.

Buyers often choose the Loaded model because it is ready to shoot at longer distances out of the box. Whether you hunt deer or shoot targets, the rifle can deliver good groups with quality ammunition. Add an optic if you want to stretch the range even further.

Take time to understand the gas system. Keep it clean, use the correct lubricants, and watch for loose screws after the first few sessions. A careful break-in is a good habit with any new rifle. The rifle ships to your local FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
