Star-gauged barrels were chosen for accuracy, and this Springfield 1903 was supplied through the NRA. The seller describes it as a bolt-action, five round rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, with a 24 inch barrel and checkered walnut.

The 1903 was first chambered in .30-03, then changed to .30-06 in 1906. It weighs about 8.7 pounds and is known for accuracy at long range. The magazine feeds from stripper clips.

The NRA connection makes it interesting to collectors of Civilian Marksmanship Program history. Compare the receiver and barrel markings in the photographs. Price reflects the condition and the story. Pick up a good sling and a cleaning kit while you wait for it to arrive at your dealer.

Condition is as stated in the description, and the rifle is sold as described. It ships to your chosen FFL dealer, where the transfer and background check take place. Ask us about fit, wear or what comes with it before you order. If a detail matters to your decision, send a question first and compare the answer with the photos. Fit matters, so shoulder it at the dealer and check that it comes up naturally.
