The SKS 1950 is a used semi-automatic rifle in 7.62x39mm with a 20 inch barrel, a ten round capacity and a black and wood finish. That tells you what to expect, an older working rifle with wear on it.

The SKS is a Soviet design that was widely built in other countries, and the 1950 name points to a Cold War era pattern. It uses a fixed magazine loaded from stripper clips and has a gas system that is simple to clean. Many owners bring one to the range as a low-cost plinker or keep it as a piece of military history.

Because the condition is only fair, plan to inspect it as soon as it arrives. Look at the bore, the gas piston and the bolt, and check that the safety and trigger work properly. A cleaning and a lube often does a great deal for an older SKS.

The price reflects the wear, and that is fair. The rifle is sold as described and ships to a licensed dealer of your choice. The background check is done there.
