Savage built Enfield No. 4 rifles during the Second World War, and this Mk 1* carries that Lee-Enfield pattern in a sporterized form. It is a bolt action chambered in .303 British with a 22 inch barrel and a blued finish.

The seller lists the serial as 88C4963 and notes U.S. property marking and a sporterized stock. The case is not included. Sporterized means the military furniture was replaced or cut back for hunting, which usually lowers collector value but can make a lighter, handier rifle.

A shooter can still enjoy the quick bolt and the smooth feel that Enfields are known for. Check the bore, the bolt head fit, and the stock for cracks near the action. This is a good pick for deer in thick cover or for someone who wants a lively rifle at an honest price.

Sold as described, with the wear and condition stated above. Nothing is dressed up. Choose an FFL dealer near you at checkout; we ship the rifle there and your dealer runs the background check at transfer. Check local transfer and ownership rules in your state before you place the order.
