The Lee-Enfield No. 4 was made in North America as well as Britain, and rifles built by Savage carry that wartime story. This used example has a 25 inch barrel, a five round magazine and a finish listed as wood with blued steel. It fires the .303 British cartridge.

It comes as is, with no box. That is honest and simple: you are buying the rifle itself. Plan to look hard at the bore, the headspace and the wood-to-metal fit before you shoot it, as you would with any military rifle of this age. Lee-Enfield actions are known for a smooth, quick bolt, and the rear-locking design tolerates dirt well. A good sling makes any rifle of this type easier to carry, and a padded buttpad helps if recoil bothers you.

Shooters like the No. 4 for plinking at a hundred yards with the aperture rear sight and for surplus matches where the old rifles still compete. Collectors like it for the maker marks and the arsenal history behind the stamps.

The rifle is sold as described, with no accessories. It ships to the FFL dealer you name, where the background check is completed.
