Soviet infantry carried the SVT into World War II, and it is still one of the most interesting semi-automatic rifles of the period. This example is chambered in 7.62x54mmR, with a 24 inch barrel, a ten round magazine, and a blued finish. Listed weight is 8.2.

The seller describes it as a historic semi-automatic battle rifle with solid accuracy and quick follow-up shots compared with a bolt-action rifle of its time. It is sought after by collectors and historians, and the seller points out its rugged construction.

SVT rifles can be demanding to maintain, since the gas system needs regular cleaning and the magazines are delicate. Check the bore, the magazine, and the markings in the photos. A serious collector will be pleased with a sound rifle at this level.

The rifle is offered as described and as pictured. Delivery goes to the FFL dealer you name, and you finish the background check with that dealer before taking it home. Give the photos a slow look at full size; they show finish and wear better than any paragraph can.
