Eighteen inches of chrome-lined barrel and an original bayonet make this Russian SKS stand out from the usual 20-inch carbines. The seller calls it a beautiful pre-owned rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, imported by Russian American Armory. It carries a five-round capacity and a black finish with a wood stock.

The Model 1958 designation refers to the Russian SKS pattern, and the shorter barrel gives the rifle a handy feel. A chrome-lined bore resists corrosion and wear, which suits a rifle that shoots surplus ammunition. The original bayonet adds to the appearance and the collectability.

This is a rifle for shooters who like Eastern Bloc firearms and want one that handles well. The price is higher than for a standard SKS, and the seller's description points to the details that earn it. Ask for more photos if you want to verify the markings, the bayonet, and the stock.

When the rifle arrives, check the bore, the gas system, and the sights. Clean it well, particularly the chamber and the gas parts. Test the safety and the trigger. It is sold as described, in used condition. The rifle ships to your local FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
