A fair-condition Mosin M91 is a rifle for the shooter who wants history without paying a collector's premium. It is a bolt action in 7.62x54mmR, with a 31 inch barrel, a three round capacity, and wood and blued steel.

The seller says some of the wood furniture is a bit loose but not broken. That is what to check first on any old Mosin. Tighten screws, inspect the stock for hairline cracks, and look at the bore with a bright light.

The M91 was the first Mosin, adopted before the First World War, and it served Russia for decades. The long barrel gives a lot of sight radius. Surplus ammunition is cheap, and the rifle is a good project for a first-time surplus buyer.

Condition is exactly as described and pictured. The rifle is sold as described and ships only to a licensed FFL dealer you choose, where the background check is completed. Check local transfer and ownership rules in your state before you place the order. Ask us about fit, wear or what comes with it before you order.
