Santa Barbara is the Spanish arsenal name behind many good Mauser 98 sporting actions. This used Model 98 is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, with a 24 inch barrel, a black finish and a wood stock. The seller lists it in excellent condition and holds five rounds in the magazine.

The 7mm Rem Mag is a long-range hunting round with a flat arc and lots of energy. It suits elk, mule deer and pronghorn when the country is wide and the shots are long. Recoil is firm, so a recoil pad and a steady rest help you shoot it well.

A Mauser 98 action, with its controlled round feed and its strong claw extractor, is known to hunters who travel for game. The Santa Barbara versions were made to be shot, not just kept.

Treat it like any used rifle. Inspect the bore, work the bolt and check the trigger. Add a scope that suits the way you hunt.

The rifle is sold as described. It ships to a licensed dealer you choose, and the background check takes place there.
