A project rifle, the seller says, and an honest one. This Yugo Mauser has been sporterized, so the wood has been cut, the bolt handle turned down almost flat, and the safety modified to clear a scope. It is drilled for a scope rail.

There is a crack in the right front side of the wood. Holes for the ring that helps in disassembling the bolt and for straps have been filled, and a recessed area for a sling plate remains. Everything seems to function as it should, though the rifle was not tested with live ammunition.

It is a bolt action chambered in 8mm Mauser with a 23 inch barrel and a five round capacity. It would make a restoration project or a rough field rifle. Priced under six hundred dollars, it suits a hobbyist. A steady rest and an unhurried first group will tell you more than any description can.

Condition is as stated in the description, and the rifle is sold as described. It ships to your chosen FFL dealer, where the transfer and background check take place.
