IBM M1 CARBINE

IBM was an unlikely rifle maker, but it built M1 Carbines for the war effort, and collectors prize them. The seller calls this a very nice WWII carbine made by IBM, offered with a sling but no magazine.

It is a semi-automatic in .30 Carbine with a 17.75 inch barrel, a 15 round capacity, and black metal on a wood stock. The M1 Carbine was light, short and easy to carry, and it was issued widely to support troops.

At this price, check for correct IBM markings on the receiver, barrel, and parts, since carbines were often rebuilt with parts from other makers. Ask for close-up photos if you need them. You will have to find a magazine, but they are available.

Used and sold as described. Have an FFL dealer lined up before you check out; the rifle goes to them, and the background check is run when you collect it. Ask us about fit, wear or what comes with it before you order. If a detail matters to your decision, send a question first and compare the answer with the photos.
