GOVERNMENT OF YUGOSLAVIA MODEL 1924

Before the post-war 24/47 conversions, the Yugoslav Model 1924 was the standard Mauser of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. This example was made at Kragujevac Arsenal, marked in Cyrillic, and carries the royal crest on the receiver ring. The model number appears on the receiver, tying it to the original configuration.

It is a bolt-action rifle in 8mm Mauser with a 24-inch barrel, a five-round magazine, and a parkerized finish. The seller gives it as import marked from PW Arms in Redmond, Washington. The receiver and stock numbers match, though the bolt is mismatched. It retains the original cleaning rod and sling mounts.

The seller describes the rifle as surplus with good mechanical function, visible finish wear, and wood dings from service use. That is a fair description for a rifle of this age. A royal crest is a good detail for a collector, since later conversions often removed or changed the markings.

If you plan to shoot it, check the bore and bolt. Pay attention to the mismatched bolt, and confirm the headspace before you use full-power ammunition. It is sold as described, in used condition. The rifle ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
