Italy's Carcano rifles used a strip clip of six rounds, and a short carbine like this one is a handy piece of Italian military history. This Terni Carcano Gardone is a used bolt-action rifle in 6.5x52 Mannlicher, with an 18.5 inch barrel and a blued finish. The serial number is 1325. No case is included.

It takes a ten-round strip clip, which differs from the usual six, so check the details when the rifle arrives. The seller adds that it must ship to FFL dealers only, a requirement we follow for every firearm.

The Carcano has a bad reputation in some circles and a good one in others. It is simple and robust, and the short carbine is quick to handle. Collectors of Italian arms keep these rifles because they show the story of Italy in two wars.

Ammunition for 6.5x52 comes from specialty makers, so check supply. Inspect the bore and the action, and have headspace checked before shooting.

It is sold as described. It ships to a licensed dealer you choose, and the background check takes place there.
