Brno rifles come from the historic Zbrojovka Brno factory in the Czech Republic, one of Europe's great arms makers. This UZ 24 Mauser is a bolt action chambered in 8x57mm Mauser, with a 24 inch barrel, a five round capacity, and a black finish on a wood stock.

The Czech Mauser pattern has a reputation for good workmanship. The seller offers a general description of the Brno firm rather than details of the rifle. Look at the photos for the Brno markings and wood condition.

A UZ 24 is a short, handy Mauser with a smooth action. Check the bore, the bolt, and the stock fit. The 8x57 cartridge is made by several ammunition makers, so it is easy to shoot.

Used and sold as described. Have an FFL dealer lined up before you check out; the rifle goes to them, and the background check is run when you collect it. Buy it for the job you have in mind, and keep a cleaning kit and a few boxes of ammunition ready for the first outing. Check local transfer and ownership rules in your state before you place the order.
